Mr. Popper's Penguins STEAM
First Grade had an amazing time working on some STEAM projects after reading Mr. Popper's Penguins:
Are you as tall as a penguin?
Students also participated in an ice box challenge:
Captain Cook builds his rook in the icebox
to keep the penguin cold.
Can you design and build a structure that
would keep an ice cube cold?
Which group will design an "icebox" that
will keep their ice cube frozen the longest?
